A fun Masculine Birthday card. It is a big struggle to come up with cards for men but I like this one. It is all I can do, to hold myself back from putting a bow on it! LOL! The stamps I used are Stampin’ Up! – Birthday Bliss and the inside reads: You’re never too old to do Goofy Stuff from the Stampin’ Up! Smarty Pants set. Hope you like it!

Father’s Day Card

One of my biggest struggles in this card making racket is masculine cards. Give me bows and flower and pink paper and I’m all set but man cards are so difficult for me! I wanted to try to do something with out the usual ties and here’s my first attempt at it. The stamp set I used was Penny Black’s Critter Party and the paper is by The Paper Loft Morning Rain. Hope you like it
Weekend Card Making…
30 Apr
I love the weekends! Saturday mornings in my craft room making cards, sipping coffee and relaxing. It doesn’t take much to make me happy! I was inspired to make this card from browsing this blog: http://paperpleasing.typepad.com/my_weblog/2011/04/vintage-sympathy-butterflies.html I used pink for the card base, embossed cream card stock for the background and again sponged a pink scrolled rectangle with a soft pink ink. I used Sure Cuts Alot to cut out the butterflies and then embossed them. I am very very pleased with how these turned out so I think I will do some in blue as well. The inside reads: Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
I have had a lot of interest in my cards so I am making several of each as people are buying them faster than I can make them! I charge $2.00 each for them so if anyone would like any of the cards that I post on this blog, just send me an email at the address on the right of my page and I will be happy to make one for you!
Have a Fantastic Weekend!!!

Butterfly Card for Mom…
28 AprFor this card I used my friend Carol’s pretty loopy boarder punch and again my Daisy Punch to make the flowers. I double stamped the butterfly and put some stickles on it so that the butterfly pops up and you can see the image under it as well. It turned out great! I probably should have taken another picture so you could see the image of the butterfly underneath. I am really happy with the way this card turned out. I love the butterfly stamp that I picked up from Carsand Mosher here in Halifax made from Inkadinkado Dragonfly. There is also a very cute little bee stamp on this stamp that I haven’t used yet, but I am sure I will soon. Hope you like it!
More Flower’s for Mom :)
28 Apr
Thank goodness it’s Friday tomorrow! I am off on Monday so that means I can craft for an extra day this weekend! This is another Mothers day card for me to take into work for the girls who still want cards. Again I used my new daisy punch and I added the little dots in the center using Inkssentials Enamel accents Dimensional faux enamel. I think it added a nice little touch to the flowers. Hope you like it!
