Another Diva Dare…

Hi Again!  I hope everyone had a great Monday!  you are probably saying… what Monday is ever great??? well I know how you feel but I persevered and got through it! I Love how this card turned out, in fact, I don’t think I am going to be able to let this one go!  It’s not often I get attached to a card but this is my idea of the perfect card.    I used Verve stamps and my EK Dimensional Dahlia Punch for the the flower.  I added some Stickles and pearls and made the hat pins to give it some added pretty elements.

This was such a fun card to make!  I didn’t have any twine so I used yarn and I think it worked great!  I love cards with bling  This is a simple but fun card.

Viva la Verve September Week 2!

My husband made a photo box for me and I find that my pictures are so much brighter!  I am still trying to learn  how to take quality photos and if you have any tips or suggestions I would SOOOOO love to hear them!!

Verve Diva Dare Day 4….

I changed it up a bit, adding the doily and a bit more ribbon but it’s the same general idea.  This was such a fun card to make!  Thanks so much Marisa for the fantastic inspiration!

Viva la Verve – September week 1!

I put my big girl pants on today and decided to give it a go….  Here is what I came up with…

Whew!  I used my borrowed Verve stamp for this card.  Thank you again Jen for letting me use your lovely stamps!

P is for Pretty Punches…

Morning All!  Happy Saturday!  I created this card for DellsDani’s Alphabet challenge.  This week is the letter P and for the life of me I couldn’t think of anything else to make….

Does this flower look like a posy?  Not really but it’s PINK!  Pretty, Punched, Pink goodness…. I think it should pass

 

The flower is a pre colored image from Fred She Said.  The background Pink mat is done with the Martha Stewart Punch Around the Page Eyelet Lace punch set.  The white background mat has been made using the Martha Stewart Loops corner punch.  Here’s another look…

Diva Dare Day 3….

Hello!  I am still playing along with the September Diva Dares over at the Verve Blog.  You can check out all the fun here: http://vervestamps.blogspot.com/  They are daring us to CASE a Diva!  This is the third card I made so far for this series of challenges.  This time I decided to CASE this beautiful creation by Betty Wright…  http://vervestamps.com/gallery/main.php?g2_itemId=34003 Wow that is one talented lady!  It took me forever to pick one card!  I wanted to make them all LOL!  I love these opportunities to CASE the Divas, and I also like that I can make changes to try to make the card my own as well.  Here’s what I came up with…

The same idea, I just changed up the design a bit!  I used some pretty paper from my DCWV French Country Stack paper pad.  The die I used for the sentiment is the Nestabilities Fleur de Lis Square, this is one of my favorites!  I don’t currently own any Verve stamps and if you play along you have a chance of winning some!  How great is that???  :)  Here’s another view…

 

 

 

 

I added some glossy accents to the center of the punched flower to make it shine and added the cute little pearl.  The ribbon I used has butterflies printed on it, it is very pretty and is always available at our local dollar store.  The butterflies were punched with the EK Tools 3 layer butterfly punch.

 

Well that is day three done!  I am obsessing over these challenges LOL!  I already have two more cards made for these challenges but I am a bit lazy this week with posting.  I plan to catch up this weekend

Another All Occasion card…

Morning All!  I have the day off!  I have been so lazy about posting lately!  I have 6 cards that I have made but have been so lazy about posting, I plan to catch up this weekend.

Here’s a simple little card I made last weekend…

The stamp is by Inkadinkado – Floral Inspiration.  Lately I have been playing around with coloring flower stamps, its fun to do something different for a change.  The background mat is the Spellbinders Nestabilities – Fleur de Lis Rectangle.  Here’s another view…

Hello….

Hi Again,  Here’s a quick and easy card I was toying around with last weekend….

I made the blue background mat with the Martha Stewart Gothic Arches corner punch.  The butterfly punch is be EK Succedss and the stamp is by Studio G.  I got this great ribbon from the $1.00 bin at Michaels and the embossing folder is by Crafts-Too you – Daisy Delight.

A quick post….

Hi All,  I have a crazy busy day today so I thought I would get a quick post in before I have to get ready to leave.  This is an all occasion card that I made with some of the goodies I got for my birthday!

The stamp set is by Inkadinakdo – Floral Inspiration.  I watched a tutorial on Becca Feeken’s blog http://www.amazingpapergrace.com/ that showed me how to make the popped up frame, it is very cool and quite easy to make if you have the right punch.
