Lynn is hosting this week’s Mix It Up Challenge! I am SOOO ready for her this time!! She has challenged us to use glitter and I am all over that one! I love using glitter, stickles, shimmer mist… anything that sparkles I am all for!!!! Check this out…
I sprayed the entire front of the card with shimmer mist and added glitter (stickles) to the flower as well as outlined the fleur de lis background panel with stickles. I should have the rules covered with this one! I have to watch out for this bunch… they just love to catch me making a mistake and not following the rules to a T! LOL!! Here’s a look at the whole card…
Under the flower I used a lovely Memory Box Valerian Flourish die cut. This is the first Memory Box Die I bought at The Cutting Garden and since then I am totally hooked! Their dies are so delicate and lovely, I have more on order and I just can’t wait until they arrive!
Well back to my Sunday Chores! LOL!!
Hope you are having a great day!
The Cheery Lynn Designs challenge this week is Lots of Layers and I have made another entry…I used one of my favorite dies for this card – French Pastry Doily, This die cuts so perfectly every time I use it! I love incorporating Doily’s into my creations Here is a look at the whole card…
We are expecting a new shipment of Cheery Lynn Dies at The Cutting Garden any day now! I can’t wait!
Enjoy your day!
I love that sentiment…. It is wonderful to give a card like this to someone who has been kind to you. I have made this card for two reasons. First, the lovely Yvonne hosted last weeks Mix It Up challenge and she asked us to use buttons! I used a big beautiful button for the center of my flower I am so lucky to work with a very kind lady and on Friday she took the time to say some very kind words to me and I wanted to give this card to her to show her how much I appreciate her.
Lace flowers are so simple and quick to make, all you need is a needle and thread to lightly sew along the edge of the lace and then pull it tight to form a circle. I need to use these more often! Here’s a look at the whole card…
I will be busy posting today, I have a major line up of projects to post and I want to make a serious dent in the pile today!
I hope you have a fantastic day!!
Good Morning! Wow I have had a crazy busy week this week. I haven’t had any time to play in my craft room this week but I have heaps of posting to do so I thought I would spend some time today getting caught up. Check this out…
This is one of my favorite stamp sets…. It is by Just Rite – Botanical Butterflies. I used Sterling Silver embossing powder and popped up on the little loopy die cut. Here’s a look at the whole card…
How’s that for simple and pretty? Too Easy
I hope you have a fantastic day!
