Hello again blog friends….. I got some very good advice yesterday… I was told to just simply relax and laugh a little I’ve been having a bit of a pitty party lately… and it’s time to call an end to it so I have decided to take this advice literally. These silly cards are SURE to give you a laugh! ….LOL! Now come on! That is such a funny sentiment!! Kim from The Cutting Garden sent me home with three stamp sets from Stampalicious! to play with and it certainly cheered me up making these fun cards!
Honestly….. were truer words ever spoken??? ;)
This one is the definition of Mantastic! *roll eyes* These stamp sets are so fun and I am so excited that Kim has decided to stock them at The Garden!
Over in Diane’s alphabet challenge I have been totally MIA and I am entering all three of these cards for her challenge this week, I believe she is on the letter V so I think these will pass as VERY Funny Hope she approves!!
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!
Good Morning Blog Friends!
It has been ages since I have made a blog post! I haven’t been feeling well lately so I haven’t been in my usual crafty upbeat mood! I decided enough of this… my craft room and playing around on my blog is one of my favorite things to do so I’m back!
Now on to much more important things! My lovely friend Lauren is having a birthday soon and Lynn and I have sent something special to her!
Yup it’s the Stampin’ Up! Hello Doily stamp and we are so pleased that she likes it!!!! She’s been sitting and drooling over this stamp for days and hasn’t even inked it up yet????? Shock! I have made this card and am posting this as a challenge to her to see if she’s got what it takes to make something as puuuuuurdy as this! LOL! (the truth is, she could ink circles around me
So here it is Lauren…. Lets see what fun things we can do with this pretty stamp and get our blogging butts back in gear! LOL!
I hope everyone has a great day and thanks for stopping by!
Hi Again… Another quick post as it is getting late and I want to have a bit of time to spend with my husband and doggies on the couch watching TV…. How’s that for some wild paper?!? LOL!!! But it looks like such a bright and cheerful butterfly birthday card! I love this die cut my Husband made for me for my Cricut. They are fun easy cards to put together, I am really pleased with how they always turn out.
Have a great evening and thanks so much for stopping by!!
Hey there blog friends….
It feels like I haven’t posted in ages but actually it has only been a couple of days. I have been doing some crafting but haven’t gotten around to uploading them to my blog so I thought I should get on the ball and get it done! Check out this sweet little Martha Stewart Butterfly punch I picked up at The Cutting Garden! Here’s a quick get well card that I made for a co-worker….I have been having a bit of a difficult couple of weeks, dealing with some health issues in my family so I have been kind of hiding on the side lines, crafting and trying to keep myself busy. I had a massive house cleaning urge this past weekend and went crazy with some spring cleaning! WHEW! Am I Glad that is over! LOL!!!
I have some more pics of some cards that I have made before but have made some subtle differences to them so stay tuned! I will probably be posting again tonight!
Have a great evening!!!
Good Evening Blog Friends!
I have had a busy day today! I managed to get some chores done… Spent some time with my friends shopping at our favorite Crafty Stores and I made a very special card! A while back I picked up a beautiful 6 x 6 paper pad called Lost & Found – Blush at The Cutting Garden made by My Minds Eye and I have tucked it away, hoarding it because I was worried I wouldn’t be able to find it again but I was so happy to see that Kim was able to stock it again so I decided to dive in!!!…
This is going to be a bit of a long post I’m afraid… It was a big project but it was crazy fun to create!!! Check this out…
This is the front of the card and it is a different type of fold but I need to apologize… I don’t know what it is called! LOL!!! I saw it somewhere on the weird wide web and totally fell in love so I just had to give it a try…
I decided I wanted to make this into a gift card holder…. Anyone who knows me knows I am a total Tim Horton’s Coffee addict and what better gift card to receive??? Well maybe a gift card from The Cutting Garden would top this… but I have to admit… it would be a close call!!! LOL!!! Yup… Tim Horton’s Coffee and Crafty Goodness are my biggest addictions…..
Don’t you just love how all this paper matches? It takes all the work out of it!! In added loads of embellishments and stamped some extra goodness in there to give it some interest… So Fun!!!
So here is a look at the inside of the card…. Believe it or not this will fit in a regular A2 envelope… it is a bit bumpy but not as much as you would think!! I had a great time creating this fun project and I truly hope that this has given you some inspiration to get creating!!
Thanks for popping by and have a great evening!!
Good Morning Blog Friends!
Over at the Mix It Up Challenge Lynn has challenged us to make Gate Fold Cards… I have been wanting to develop a new fancy fold card class so I took Lynn’s lead and decided to use her challenge for my inspiration! Thanks Lynn!!! Here’s what I came up with…
For all three of these cards I used the Flourishes Kids Play stamp set!
I hope everyone has a great day and thanks for stopping by!!
Come on my crafty friends…. we have all done this…. bought Design Paper that really isn’t your style and it ends up on the bottom of the pile because you can’t quite figure out what to do with it right???? I’ve got a TON of the stuff and I have been trying to figure out what to do with it because I just CAN NOT waste it!!! That would be just WRONG!!!! lol!!! Check this out…. Now this paper just seemed a bit on the wild side to me but once I started cutting out butterflies with it on my Cricut it totally changed my mind!!!!
This is another beautiful butterfly die cut Tony made for me for my Cricut using Sure Cuts Alot…. isn’t it fantastic???? I totally love this pretty easel card, and it is super quick and easy to put together! I also need to draw your attention to the fantastic new ribbon Kim is stocking at The Cutting Garden… I love this pretty sheer ribbon with the silver trim… It is really lovely
Here’s a peek inside…
I added some stickles to the edges of the butterfles to give them some shimmer. I love the look of this, it is very pretty.
I had some left overs from this paper and I have been sticking with my rule of using up a full sheet of design paper once I cut into it, I decided to make another card….
I used the same butterfly cut but made a standard tent fold card along with the Stampin’ Up Elegant Lines embossing folder.
Well I hope your visit today has inspired you to get crafting!
Thanks so much for stopping by!!
Good Morning Blog Friends!
I have a quick card to share with you this morning before I get ready for work! Here’s another Joy Fold card I made….
I love the blue and silver together. The stamp I used for the sentiment on the front is by Just Rite – Fleur De Lis and I die cut it out with Spellbinders Labels Twenty. I picked this stamp up at The Cutting Garden. This is my first attempt at making this type of card, it was really quite fun and easy!!! Have a peek at the inside….
This was a fun card to put together! I hope I have inspired you to get stamping today, it really is such a relaxing fun hobby isn’t it?
I hope everyone has a fantastic day and thanks so much for stopping by!!!
Well the weekend is over and it’s back to work for me! I have had a busy weekend, spending loads of time on class development. Here’s a peek at what I have been up to….
I have been playing with my distress inks again and I am very pleased with the effect on these projects! I will be teaching these three cards at The Cutting Garden on June 9th!
I hope everyone has a great day and thanks for stopping by!!!
I have made a lot of cards over the past year but I think I have only made one baby card before. Kim at The Cutting Garden got in a new Flourishes stamp set called Hello Baby and I added it to my collection and sat down last night and made these very simple baby cards…. As you can see, these are super simple to make up and those cute little booties are adorable!!!
I hope everyone is having a lovely weekend and thanks for stopping by!!
