Once in a Lifetime….

Whoa!  It’s a hot one today!  I am sitting on the deck (in the shade) as I post this… the AC is on in the house but It is such a spectacular day I just feel I HAVE to spend some of my day outside!  It has to be over 30 degrees out here, its so quiet an peaceful, this is such a lovely and relaxing day.  I would love to get a bit of sun because I am so white, but I feel the sun is so intense, I will burn to a crisp if I attempt it!

Here’s another card I made this weekend…. I love this new sentiment stamp I picked up from The Cutting Garden.  I will make a lovely wedding card don’t you think and after all it’s the season for weddings so I imagine I will be putting it to good use!

My Garden…

It is an incredibly beautiful day today!  I couldn’t resist wandering around my yard and snapping some pictures of some of my plants… This next one is fun… I decided to grow some salad mix lettuce in my tea cup planter to see how it turns out…

These are totally out of control!!!  Soon I won’t be able to park in the driveway! LOL!!  Next spring I am going to have to dig all these up and divide them (AGAIN!)  Anyone want some?

Happy Birthday….

Hi Again Blog Friends, this is my second post of the day and this time it’s a pretty set of simple birthday cards….Both these cards were made from a 6 x 6 piece of design paper, I really like to use up as much of the card stock as I can when I cut into it to avoid wasting.  I am happy to say that these cards are mail friendly, I don’t do low profile cards well so when I manage to make some I am always pleased

Memory Box….

Happy Sunday All!  Its another beautiful day here and I am going to get some posting done this morning and then I am off to enjoy some of this wonderful sunshine before it gets too hot out!  It’s going to be a scorcher today and most likely I will have to shut all the windows and turn the A/C on.

Happy Canada Day to everyone!  I have been crafting up a storm and I have loads to share with you!

I love the Memory Box dies that Kim stocks at The Cutting Garden!  They are so great to work with and cut beautifully!   This die is called Chloe Stem, I love flower dies and when they come into the store I just can’t resist picking them up.
