Happy Friday Blog Friends!
I have a pretty birthday card to share with you this morning. I have been trying to get in some crafty time this week and I haven’t been very successful but I plan to spend all day Sunday at The Cutting Garden at an all day crop so hopefully I will manage to create some fun cards to show you next week. Here’s my simple little cards for today….
The Doily die is by Cheery Lynn called French Pastry and since I ran it through my Bigshot with some wax paper I am enjoying it so much more because none of the little bits of paper stick into the die anymore! *Whew* I just can’t tell you how happy I am to learn that little trick! LOL!!
Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by and I hope you have a fantastic day!!
Good Morning Blog Friends! I am not getting any crafty time in this week at all! Every evening after work this week I end up having so many other things to do, I haven’t had a chance to even sit in my craft room! At least it’s staying somewhat tidy so I should be happy about that I have another Christmas card to share with you that I made for the last Stamp A Stack at The Cutting Garden.
This is another quick and easy card to put together and it can just be popped in the mail without worrying about extra postage. If you like the sentiment, you can grab it here on my blog. Just click on the freebies link to the right and you will find it there along with other digi sentiments that Tony has made for me.
I’m off to get ready for another work day! I hope everyone has a great day and thanks so much for stopping by!
I know it’s August but I feel that I need to start thinking about what I am going to do for Christmas cards this year. I made this card a while back for a stamp a stack that we held at The Cutting Garden. It is a pretty simple card but I was pleased with it as it can be popped into the mail easily….
The stamp is by Creative Concepts – Stamp It! and it only took the smallest amount of coloring which made me very happy as I am not a fan of coloring. This is just a regular size A2 card and it should be pretty easy to make several of these for my box of cards that I will be giving out this year.
I’m off to work again today so this is a quickie post. I hope everyone has a great day and thanks for stopping by!!
Good Morning Blog Friends!
I have a quick post for you this morning as I am off to work again today. This is just a simple little card I made last week while I was on vacation.
I have been playing around with making envelopes for my card and you will find the tutorial here on my blog if you would like to make your own. This dress form stamp that I picked up at The Cutting Garden is by My Minds Eye and Kim tells me that it has been discontinued which is such a shame!! I use this stamp often, it is very beautiful.
Well I’m off to work! I hope everyone has a fantastic day and thanks for stopping by!!
I just love this sentiment…. Every time I use it, it just makes me smile
I also love my Martha Stewart punches! I used three of them to make this card.. Crochet Flower Pattern punch all over the page (for the background panel) and two different size butterfly punches.
Today is going to be another busy day for me, I have to get ready to go back to work tomorrow so I will be busy getting my chores done around the house but hopefully I will have a bit of time to get crafty.
I hope you all have a fantastic day and thanks for stopping by!!
Good Morning Blog Friends….
I am still having a blast creating with my Cheery Lynn dies in preparation for their visit at The Cutting Garden tomorrow!! I decided to make a pretty gift box and decorate it with some of their lovely dies…
For this project I used two Cheery Lynn dies, the Cuties 2 die to make the lovely flower and the Italian Flourish doily die.
I have a ton of stuff to do today so I am off to get my act together and get some chores done!
I hope everyone has a fantastic day and thanks for stopping by!!!
Hey there Blog Friends…
I am still in Memory Book mode! I am having so much fun creating these and I am using it as a good excuse to use my pretty Cheery Lynn dies! I am on vacation this week so I am spending some time just relaxing and having fun with my crafty goodness. In preparation for our visit from the owners of Cheery Lynn Designs, Kim at The Cutting Garden asked us to create like crazy, using our Cheery Lynn products so we can show them how much we love their dies and what we can do with them.
Here’s another fun memory book I made using some of my favorite dies and punches…
I am also a big fan of Martha Stewart Punch Around the Page punch sets and I have pulled a few of them out to create some of the background mats for pictures. I will be bringing all my books to The Cutting Garden for Saturday if anyone wants a closer look!
Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you have a wonderful day!!
Good Morning blog friends! My lovely and talented Aussie friend Lauren and I are tempting each other to create with our Hello Doily stamps. Check out the beauty Lauren created HERE She really outdid herself with that one!!! Well I have made a card as well but it’s not as pretty as hers!!
I used bright white embossing powder on this card. It is a super simple card to make and this stamp always turns out beautiful elegant cards. I have another stamp similar to this one so while I had all my supplies out I decided to make another…
Now lets wait and see what Lauren comes back with now!!! This could turn into an ongoing challenge! So FUN!!!! But now that I am thinking about it, she will probably challenge me to do something really hard. Okay now I’m worried! LOL!!
I hope everyone is having a great day and thanks for stopping by!!
