Good Morning All!
Happy Friday! I thought I would take a break from posting Christmas cards and post a pretty card that I made using my Hello Doily Stamp….
This is one of my go to cards, I make these in several colors and keep a bunch of them in my stash for birthday cards for my special friends. I have several card designs that I keep for this purpose. I made these in purple as well and I also like to make them in blue.
Well I am off to get ready for work! I hope you all have a great day!
Good Morning! I have been in a bit of a funk, not spending any time in my craft room at all. Tony and I have quit smoking and we are almost 3 weeks smoke free and have been kind of adjusting. I have been in bed early all week feeling quite tired but I think we are just a bit “off” our usual game LOL! Oh well…. I am sure we will settle out soon.
I have a couple of cards to share with you this morning….
These are really fun cards to make and quite easy now that I have my Cameo cutting the dolls out!
I am off to work today so I am off to get ready. I hope you all have a fantastic day and thanks so much for stopping by!
Good Morning! I wanted to pop on and do a quick post of a birthday card that I made for a girl at work. She is one of the most thoughtful and kind people I know….
I can’t really decide which color to give her, probably the greenish one but I like them both equally.
I hope you all are having a good week and thanks for stopping by!
Ugh! I have never been a fan of Monday’s but there is no point in complaining! LOL! I am just going to get on with it and head off to work. I had a great weekend, we went for a very long drive to the Valley and enjoyed some pretty scenery along the way. I got a little crafty time in this weekend, not as much as I would have liked but sometimes the Mojo just doesn’t cooperate. Oh well, Its all good! I have a few things that I can share with you this week and hopefully it will provide you with some inspiration to get crafty. I hope this post will bring Ms. Lauren out to play as we often like to taunt each other with this stamp!
I absolutely love this Hello Doily stamp from Stampin’ Up! It is truly one of my go to stamps. I love to add some definition to the stamped image buy running some coordinating distress ink over it to make the darker shading.
Well I am off to hit the shower and start my work week! I hope you all have a great week and thanks so much for stopping by!
Good Afternoon! I hope you are all enjoying your weekend I have been having fun with my new Penny Black Poppy Poem stamp….
It is such a pretty stamp and very easy to color using my water color pencils. I am off to run some errands and do some housework and possibly stop in for a visit at The Cutting Garden.
Have a great day!
Good Afternoon! I have had this lovely stamp set sitting on my desk for ages and just haven’t had a chance to ink it up and see what I can create with it. Kim has this stamp set in stock right now at The Cutting Garden and it is one of my favorites because of the beautiful doily’s…..
I heated embossed the doily’s using white embossing powder and went to down with my distress inks. The flowers I used are hand made as well. I have loads of pre-made flowers but for some reason, I am happiest when I make my own flowers.
Here’s another one in purple…
This is a long card. 8.5 x 4.25″. Pretty huh?
I hope you are all having a great day and thanks for stopping by!!!
Yup! I am posting again! LOL! This time to share this pretty new paper that Kim has in at The Garden called Spring Bouquet by Webster’s Papers.
I love this Dragonfly stamp! I am sure you have seen me using this one before. It is quite a large stamp and I like to make my cards 5 x 5 so it is the perfect size for me.
I hope you all are enjoying your weekend and thanks so much for stopping by!
Good Morning Blog Friends!
I have a busy day ahead of me as I am heading over to The Cutting Garden to help out and soak up some crafty goodness. I have been busy crafting away while I am on vacation so of course, I want to share what I have been up to with you all
This stamp set is On The Grow by Stampin’ Up. I have had this set for ages and I love this little jar of flowers. I colored it using my water color pencils which are really growing on me! I hate coloring but these pencils make it totally easy!
Very pretty and feminine…. I am really pleased with how this one turned out.
I hope you all have a spectacular day!
Good Morning! I have been on vacation this week and getting loads of crafty time in. I have been busy creating away and realizing that I am getting further and further behind with posting! I need to start getting caught up.
Sooo….. A couple of weeks ago I asked Kim to bring in the Penny Black Poppy Poem stamp for me….
I used my water color pencils to color the image, I really think it turned out really well. I don’t like to color but with these colored pencils it makes it so easy!
Well this is the first of MANY cards I will be creating using this stamp. I absolutely LOVE it! I think Kim brought in a few extras and of course, she will order this stamp for you if you would like one of your own.
I hope you all have a great day and thanks for stopping by!
Good Morning All!
This is my last week at work before I go off for a bit of a vacation. I am looking forward to laying low and relaxing for a bit and hopefully finding some time to get crafty. My friend Carol will be on vacation with me so I am sure we will spend a couple days hiding out in my craft room.
I am so backed up on posting on my blog and I need to get caught up so you might receive more than one email from me over the next few days while I catch up.
This stamp set is called Reason to Smile by Stampin Up. I love how delicate these little flowers look.
And since I had the stamp set out I thought I would just continue to ink it up….
This second one is a Pinterest inspired card that I saw a few weeks ago. I love how cheerful this one looks.
I am off to get ready for work! Have a great day and thanks for stopping by!
