Joy Fold….

15 May

Good Morning Blog Friends!

I have a quick card to share with you this morning before I get ready for work!  Here’s another Joy Fold card I made….

I love the blue and silver together.  The stamp I used for the sentiment on the front is by Just Rite – Fleur De Lis and I die cut it out with Spellbinders Labels Twenty. I picked this stamp up at The Cutting Garden.   This is my first attempt at making this type of card, it was really quite fun and easy!!!  Have a peek at the inside….

This was a fun card to put together!   I hope I have inspired you to get stamping today, it really is such a relaxing fun hobby isn’t it?

I hope everyone has a fantastic day and thanks so much for stopping by!!!

Another Birthday Card….

24 Mar

Here’s another quick birthday card I created a while back but I am just getting around to posting it now….

The sentiment stamp is by Just Rite and the paper is from my Recollections Garden Floral paper pad.  I am speed posting today and I am meeting a friend in less than an hour and I haven’t even started to get ready! LOL!!!

I hope you all have a great weekend and thanks for stopping by!

DTGD11 Challenges…

7 Aug

Okay I’m on the home stretch!  My goal is to finish today and see if I can clean up my craft room!  It looks like a bomb went off in here! LOL!  I am entering this card in four challenges….

Hope you like it!

Another card for the Featured Stamper Challenge

12 Jun

I love to play along with this challenge :)  This is Mary’s card I chose to case this time:  http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/photo/1568201?&cat=500&ppuser=505  Her’s is much nicer than mine but I enjoyed making my version…

I am trying to use up my scraps today and this is such a great way to use up some of the beautiful paper left over from other projects.  Thanks again Mary for the wonderful inspiration!

Lisa :)

Sunday Silly….

22 May

Good Morning!  Another dreary damp day *sigh*  The weather has been so terrible for weeks and weeks!  The sun peeked through for a minute or two a couple times last week but of course it disappeared and quickly as it came and we are back to damp and cold!  I am almost desperate to get out into my garden!  I have so much hope for sun tomorrow!

Anyway, enough of my whining!  For this card I used the Recollections Meow Meow stamp set.  Embossed a nice big circle with my swirls embossing folder, sponged some darker blue on the swirls and then put a coat of Mod Podge over it to give it a bit of a shine.  I glued the little clear drops as I was thinking the water needed some bubbles :)  The cat stamp is so cute, he actually looks like he is holding his tummy after eating the fish.  The paper is just random scraps that I had in my stash.  Hope you like it!  :)

Penny Black – Hello Friend…

21 May

This card was made last weekend at my sister’s and I am just getting around to posting it :)  It is from the Penny Black – Hello Friend stamp set.  I used my Copic’s to colour it in.  It is such a cute stamp, I hope you like it :)

Sunday blogging catch up…

17 Apr

This is another random birthday card that I made sometime ago.  I got this pretty paper from the dollar store as well as the polka-dotted ribbon.  It was a really quick and easy card to make up and the yellow and green with the little jewels in the centers of the stars look really nice.

Morning Cup

11 Apr

I made these cards about a month ago using the Stampin’ Up!  Morning Cup stamp set colored in with colored pencils.  I loved this set on sight as I am a huge caffeine addict and as soon as I saw it, it was a must have!  I also have the Take A Sip wheel and I will post a picture of a card using that in the future.  So many cards, so little time to post!  Unfortunately a little thing called having to go to work always gets in the way! ;)

Another Random Card

11 Apr

This is one of the earlier cards I made.  I love playing with my Big Shot embossing folders.  I picked up this cute little stamp in the $1.50 bin at Michaels but I didn’t like the stamped flower on it so I added a little brad I picked up from the dollar store.  It was a quick and easy card to make up.

Catching Up!

10 Apr

I need to be a more faithful blogger.  I have been busy making cards and my Husband and insane brother-in-law Miles keep tormenting me about procrastinating about updating my blog.  This is all very new to me and seems to be very much like work as I am still learning how to do post updates.  I want to spend my free time with my friends playing with my stamps.  The weekends just go by way too quickly I am afraid!

Here are a few note cards I made up using my new Stampin Up! stamps.  Birthday Bliss and So Happy for You again from Sale-A-Bration.
