Revisiting some old friends…

2 Mar

Good Morning!  Happy Saturday to you all!

Wow am I glad last week is finally over!  It was a busy one for me at work… so much happening!  But now it’s the weekend and I get to relax and do what ever I want to finally!  I was so excited to start my weekend I actually woke up at 5:30 am and came downstairs to my craft room with my nice fresh cup of coffee to sit, relax and catch up on all the things I have missed on Pintrest.  Yes!  I am so addicted to Pintrest!! LOL!!

I have been thinking a lot this week about what I can come up with for Easter cards and it dawned on me last night that I could just revisit and revise some of my old favorites!  These two cards I am about to post, I made quite a while ago and I have kept them in my stash because I really wanted to make them again.  The are definitely two of my favorite cards…

Post 1Post 2I think these could easily be made into lovely easter cards don’t you think?  I think I will get to work on making some variations of these this weekend.

I hope you all enjoy your weekend and thanks so much for stopping by!!

Next Saturday’s Card Making Class…

11 May

Here’s a peek at what I will be teaching next Saturday!

I’m not sure if you can see it very clearly, but I used chalks on the masculine card for the sky and water.  I really enjoyed making these cards and I can’t wait to share them with the ladies that sign up for the class!! :D

Have a great evening and thanks for stopping by!!!!

7th Challenge…. Yes I skipped one….

4 Jul

I just couldn’t wrap my tiny little mind around Challenge #6 – Inspired by worlds flags.  I am going to reserve the right to go back to it once I have a think about it :)  Here is my next entry.  It was a challenge to create a card about Grilling….

I got this image from the Digistamp Boutique.  It is called BBQ Alf.

Hope you like it!

Father’s Day Cards….

20 May

I always have a hard time with masculine cards. I hope this isn’t cheating as I didn’t use a stamp for the cars. I found this really great paper at Carsand Mosher and it is made by graphic 45, A Proper Gentleman Collection – On the Boulevard # 4500179. The striped background is also made by graphic 45 Le Cirque Collection – Circus Parade #4500305. Hope you like it!

Father’s Day or Birthday….

8 May

Here’s another masculine card that I think I could use for either a birthday or father’s day.  Hope you like it :)

Father’s Day Card

30 Apr

One of my biggest struggles in this card making racket is masculine cards.  Give me bows and flower and pink paper and I’m all set but man cards are so difficult for me!  I wanted to try to do something with out the usual ties and here’s my first attempt at it.  The stamp set I used was Penny Black’s Critter Party and the paper  is by The Paper Loft Morning Rain.  Hope you like it :)
