Bucklez for Ribbon???? What a find!!!

8 Jan

Check this out!!!!

We have a new craft store in my neighborhood!!!  It’s called The Cutting Garden!  Here’s a link to their website…  The staff there are so friendly and helpful and the store is stocked with out of this world toys that I have never seen before!!!   I couldn’t believe they even made such a thing but as soon as I saw them I just HAD to have them… oh and create a card using one!!!  Here see for yourself….

If you have spent any time flipping through my blog, you will know that ribbon is absolutely one of my FAVORITE things!!!!  I have many others but ribbon is in the top 3!!!!  I’ll tell you about their ribbon selection later LOL!!! right now it’s all about the bling baby!!!  Here’s another pic… (got my camera working overtime this weekend!)

Ohhhh So Pretty!!! These beauties come in a package of 6 for $1.89!  How sweet is that???  Here’s a look at the whole card…

I made this card as inspiration for the New Mix It Up! Challenge that  I am hosting on SplitCoast!  We would love it if you dropped in to say Hi and maybe play along!!!  You can find us here:

Hope you will join us!

I Spy with My Little Eye….

8 Jan

Happy Sunday Morning!  Last week I guest hosted DellsDani’s I Spy Challenge and I posted some sneak peeks of cards that I made for the challenge…  Here are the clues I left for them…

What I spy is not hard to see
It Starts with an F and ends with a P
A lasting one is something to treasure
It costs nothing at all but its value’s beyond measure
SplitCoast Stampers has many on view
If you join in on my challenge, you might make one too!

I couldn’t resist playing along as well so I made some cards that fit the challenge and I am posting them today as we are on to another week with the I Spy Challenge and I need to close this one off and do a couple of draws to see who the winners are!

Everyone that played along got this digital stamp that my husband made for me!!!

I used the Martha Stewart Double Arches boarder punch and also a butterfly punch by Martha Stewart as well.  I think it paired pretty well with the Spellbinder die for the background of the sentiment.  Here’s another…

These were quick and easy cards to make but they turned out so pretty!

Hope you can find some time to join in and play along with us!

Lisa 🙂
