Starting something new….

29 Jan

I thought I would start something new on my blog….  I have decided that I want to send out more happy mail and what better way to do it then to send it to all you lovely ladies that leave me such sweet comments all the time 🙂  Check this out…

My lovely friend Kathy (aka muscrat) on SplitCoast always leaves encouragement for me on my blog and I just can not express how much I appreciate it!  Kathy seems to love the rolled flowers that I have been playing with lately so I cut out 32 flowers for her and they are going in the mail to her tomorrow! I also stamped some cute images for her.

I hope you like it Kathy!  Thanks for being such a wonderful friend *hugs*

FYI Everyone…. I will be doing more happy mail packages up so don’t be shy…. stop by and say hello!  You could be next!! 🙂

Lisa 🙂

    Hi Lisa,
This is a wonderful idea! I have always wanted to try rolled flowers, but just haven’t done it yet. The ones in your picture, are they cut on a Cricut machine? Or are they a die you would use with a CuttleBug?
I did see the other post you had put on your Blog, the ones that were done with the EK punch, they were awesome as well.
    Thanks for sharing so much!
    Sue

Hi Sue, thanks for your comment! These were cut using my Cricut and Sure Cut’s Alot… My husband Tony made the SVG cutting file for me and I can cut 8 flowers out per sheet. They are so easy to make but are so pretty. They really are the same idea as the dies you can buy by ex. spellbinders for rolled flowers 🙂

Oh boy did I miss out. I have been reading your blogs and did see your roses and said to myself, self you need to go find a punch or die so you can make those flowers too. But really I do look at all your lovely cards and I am amazed at the talent you have…can you pass some this way please. Keep up the good work you are truly inspiring us. Thank you Lisa for giving us such wonderful pics to look at and oh by the way your dogs are absolutely adorable. Hope your weekend was a good one.

What a brilliant idea Lisa, you always come up with totally unique things to do…… you may have to dislike me, but I think I will pinch this idea later on, when it is not quite so new…. 🙂
