Good Morning!! I am back with some inspiration while crafting with my friend Lauren! It is wonderful to have some time off from work so I can do some online crafting time with my friends. Lauren and I have been challenging each other, and it has really been working for me! Have a look at what we have come up with….
Don’t you just love these pretty flowers she has helped me to make? Lauren has a lovely tutorial on her blog to teach you how to make them! I have spent this weekend making loads of them for my cards and projects. They are super easy to make and turn out perfectly every time! Thanks Girlie! This has turned out to be my go to flower! I will be posting later all the lovely flowers I have been making 🙂
I hope all of you have had a wonderful Christmas, mine was absolutely lovely! Relaxing…. lots of time with family and friends… I love to cook so I made loads of treats and sweets… Skyped with my lovely family in England… and also spent lots of time on skype with Lauren dreaming up upcoming projects for us! I have been Just relaxing and enjoyed the season… *sigh* It will be over too soon I am afraid, I am back to work soon but that is okay! It’s been fun!!!
Thanks for stopping by!!
Good Evening! It has been a crazy busy weekend for me, shopping shopping! Yes, it is a bit last minute for Christmas shopping but I just really couldn’t get into the Christmas mode until now. I really haven’t done many Christmas cards this year either, which is quite shocking! My friend Carol came over to craft with me last night and I pulled this Pintrest inspired card together and I love the simplicity of it…
Very simple but quite pretty!!
I hope you all have had a great weekend and I truly hope you are all further ahead with your Christmas preparations than I am!!
I don’t do many altered items…. but it’s Christmas and I am desperately trying to put together some pretty gifts for my co-workers and this is what I have come up with this evening….
This is the inside of the box…. lots of lovely chocolates and an wonderfully smelling bath fizzy….
this is a picture of the front on the box with a lovely flower that my friend from Toronto made for me! It is so beautiful!!! Thanks Lynn!!!!
Good Morning! It’s Monday again! Ugh! It’s okay….. I will survive, I am off to work this morning, it’s going to be a busy week! I have a gift card holder to show you today…
Here is the inside…
I really enjoyed making these.. they were simple to put together and gift cards are such an easy gift to give…. I love giving gift cards, no crazy trips to the malls and stores! That’s my idea of stress free gift giving 🙂
I hope you all have a great day and thanks for stopping by!
But I just don’t want to! *stomp foot* LOL!! The rumors are true…. I am not a fan of Christmas at all… It’s just too much bother! I like Christmas Day…. I love cooking Christmas dinner. I guess I like Christmas best when it’s all over! Yes call me the Grinch… Tony told me today (in his Jim Carrey voice) as he and our daughter Vicki happily decorated the tree, that my heart has shrunk 2 sizes! Oh Well… I need to lose weight… I’ll take what I can get 😉
Okay… shutting up now…. on to something crafty for you to have a look at….
I think these are just sweet! I made them the size of a regular A 2 card so they can just slip into an envelope so I can send some of them as little gifts. Here is the side view…
These were really easy to make! I used my new Punch – Scalloped Teardrop that I picked up at The Cutting Garden last week.
Well that’s it for now…. Yes back to trying to pump out some Christmas cards *sigh*
Thanks for stopping by!
Happy Friday Everyone!
Today is my day off from work and I have spent some much needed relaxing time in my craft room trying to get my mojo flowing. It’s been like pulling teeth! LOL! I decided to make some little gifts for friends and Co-Workers. These are simple little candy/treat holders that I put together using some design paper that I really didn’t care for, but I thought I could dress it up to make it look nice…
I thought I would put some little chocolates like Hershey’s kisses in them. They are really quite cute and would be perfect as a little gift or stocking stuffer.
Now all I have to do is head out to pick up some candy!
I hope you all are having a great day and thanks for stopping by!!
Good Morning! I am off work today as Tony has some medical appointments that I want to attend with him and I thought I would drag my butt into my craft room and do a blog post. It has been mentioned to me that people are wondering what is up with me as I haven’t been posting and crafting much lately. To be honest, I haven’t been doing much of anything creative lately! I need to drag myself out of this funk that I am in! LOL!!
I wondered this past weekend if I am just simply growing bored or tired of this hobby but I don’t think that is it at all. I think I am just not great at multi tasking. My mind is preoccupied with my personal life, and I am a terrible worrier, so that has been completely taken over my creativity. Also when I have a lot on my mind I tend to be a bit of a recluse, I prefer to just be on my own and digest (so to speak) what is going on with me, so my friends and family tend to get VERY frustrated with me. Most of my friends are, to say the least, a bit ticked off at me so I am going to have to buck up and get myself back on track! It’s time to push all that aside and get back to having some fun 🙂
Okay, enough of my rambling… you are not here to read about this drivel, you are here to see what craftiness I have been up to. I have a whole box of projects and cards to share with you and I am determined to get posting regularly again!
This blog post has a serious tone to it, so right now I am regretting picking a Sympathy card to show you but oh well, the picture has been taken and I am going to post it anyway. My next card, AND blog post will be much more up beat! I promise!!! ;D
This stamp set is by Flourishes – Calla Lilies, it’s beyond beautiful! I thought I would cut up the image to give it a bit of interest. I added a tiny bit of color to the flowers and dry embossed the background. These cards were very easy to put together and the low profile enables you to just pop them into an envelope with regular postage.
I hope you all have a great day and thanks so much for stopping by!
