Gift Box and Card….

24 Jun

Good Morning!  I can’t believe the weekend is over so quickly and it is Monday again!  I didn’t spend much time in my craft room this weekend, the weather was just too fantastic and I spent most of my time on the deck and tending to my little garden.  I took some lovely pictures of what is blooming here at my place and I will share them with you later. A friend at work asked if I could make a gift box and matching card for a friend of hers that is retiring… Box 1Box 2I used the Martha Stewart Flower Bed border punch to make the lovely band of design paper around the entire box and then wrapped it with pretty ribbon.  I just punched both sides of the strip of design paper, it gives a lovely effect.  The butterflies are also from a Martha Stewart punch. Did that little white frame catch your eye?  That is a new toy I found at The Cutting Garden, It was made from the Martha Stewart Crafter’s Clay Heirloom starter kit.  What a fun little tool this is going to be!  It is a beautiful little set and will work wonderful on any mixed media projects or cards.  LOVE IT!  This kit comes with 4 molds and lots of clay to get you started. Box 3Box 4I am off to work!  I hope you have a great day and thanks for stopping by!Signature
