Good Morning and Happy Friday! I have a quick post for you this morning as I am busy getting ready to head out to work. I am looking forward to this upcoming 3 day weekend! Hopefully I will have some time this weekend to hide out in my craft room to create. Here’s what I have to share with you this morning…..
I pulled out my sewing machine for this one. It is fun to add sewing to your cards to give it a bit of extra interest.
This card is a bit random, I’m not sure what look I was going for but I am happy with the result.
I hope you all have a fantastic Friday and thanks so much for stopping by!
I haven’t pulled out this stamp in a while and it is one of my all time favorites! This is from the Zinnias stamp set by Flourishes….
I love this striking blue card stock that Kim has in at The Cutting Garden, it’s so beautiful! I am heading to the garden for class tonight and I think I will have to pick up a few more pieces of this!
I am off to work again today and I am looking forward to this upcoming long weekend.
I hope you all have a great day and thanks so much for stopping by!
Have you ever bought something and afterward thought… wow… how am I ever going to use this? Well this butterfly die has had me scratching my head for quite some time. It’s a really big negative die but I also have the matching intricate die and I have used that several times but the negative has had me stumped.
So I set to work to see if I could make a card with it….
And I was very pleasantly surprised! I would definitely make one of these again. I love the pretty matching paper and the embossed white panel on top. So there you have it… When I started this card I had no idea what it would turn out like but in the end, I think it is very pretty.
Have a fantastic day!
Good Afternoon! I hope you are all enjoying your weekend 🙂 I have been having fun with my new Penny Black Poppy Poem stamp….
It is such a pretty stamp and very easy to color using my water color pencils. I am off to run some errands and do some housework and possibly stop in for a visit at The Cutting Garden.
Have a great day!
Good Afternoon! I have had this lovely stamp set sitting on my desk for ages and just haven’t had a chance to ink it up and see what I can create with it. Kim has this stamp set in stock right now at The Cutting Garden and it is one of my favorites because of the beautiful doily’s…..
I heated embossed the doily’s using white embossing powder and went to down with my distress inks. The flowers I used are hand made as well. I have loads of pre-made flowers but for some reason, I am happiest when I make my own flowers.
Here’s another one in purple…
This is a long card. 8.5 x 4.25″. Pretty huh?
I hope you are all having a great day and thanks for stopping by!!!
Good Evening Blog Friends….
I thought I would pop on and post some pictures of a card class that I am teaching in a couple of weeks at The Cutting Garden….
Puuuuurdy huh? The stamp set I used is called Wildflowers by Technique Tuesday. I am still on vacation and loving every single minute of it! Although, my mojo has been missing for the past couple of days but it finally made an appearance this morning and I was able to put this class together in about 2 hours! YaY
Have a great evening!
Yup! I am posting again! LOL! This time to share this pretty new paper that Kim has in at The Garden called Spring Bouquet by Webster’s Papers.
I love this Dragonfly stamp! I am sure you have seen me using this one before. It is quite a large stamp and I like to make my cards 5 x 5 so it is the perfect size for me.
I hope you all are enjoying your weekend and thanks so much for stopping by!
