Good Morning! I am still on vacation and I am getting loads of time in my craft room! I have been working on some pretty canvas’ for my new office. I will be back in a bit to show some of them to you as soon as I get some pictures taken. For now I thought I would show you a few cards that I have made for an upcoming class at The Cutting Garden….
We have some new comers at The Garden and they have been asking for a basic card making class and this is what I have come up with for them.
I would like to wish you all a very happy new year! I am looking forward to a fantastic 2014!!
I have been so busy with getting ready for Christmas that I am really missing spending time in my craft room! I have a few posts that I have saved up to share with you so you don’t think that I have fell off the face of the earth LOL! Here is some lovely birthday cards, I have made this design back in October, I think, but I really love the look of these cards and I wanted to make some more for my stash…
Kim has brought in some lovely brads that work perfectly for the centers of these flowers that I have cut using my cameo. I really love the elegant look of this card.
Well I am off to work for my last day at my current job. I have a feeling it is going to be quite an emotional day, as I truly am going to miss my coworkers but on the other hand, I am excited to start something new. I love change and seem to like to change jobs every 6 or 7 years. I am starting Christmas vacation on Friday so I can not wait to be able to have some time to sit and play with some new flower punches I have picked up at The Cutting Garden over the last few weeks.
I hope you all have a great day!
Good Morning! Seriously… I need to finish up with making Christmas cards… It feels like I have made a million of them but truly I haven’t, it just feels like it. Here is a really simple one made with pretty red glitter paper and a lovely Memory Box die that Kim brought in at The Cutting Garden…
This card had so much sparkle, it is very simple but turned out very nice. I am off to work again today, only two more days after today and then I am on Christmas vacation! I can hardly wait!
Have a great day and thanks for stopping by!
The weekend is almost here! I am excited to dive into my weekend and finish up my preparations for Christmas. This year I have told myself over and over not to make a big deal out of the gift giving thing. I only have a few gifts to buy as Tony and I rarely exchange gifts. If we want something, we will usually just go get it so it is pointless to try to think of something to buy for each other. I am really looking forward to making Christmas dinner, cooking turkey dinner is my absolute favorite meal to prepare.
Okay no more gab… Here’s the card I have to share with you today…..
Simple but pretty… I have mailed all my Christmas cards and for once, I really feel that I am ahead this year!
I am changing jobs in the new year and that is very exciting. I have been at my current job for 6 years and I feel it’s time for a change. I am really going to miss my current co-workers but we have vowed to stay in touch!
Okay, I am off to get ready for work! Hope you all have a stress free day!!!
Well I am! I love LOVE home made gifts. To me they are extra special because of the time and effort the person puts into what they made. To me, that makes it truly a “Gift”.
Good Morning and Happy Monday!!
I had a very busy weekend…. Friday night was my work Christmas party and as usual, I had a total blast! I danced and laughed all evening, it was a great time! Then on Saturday night it was shop and crop at The Cutting Garden… Look what I managed to get done….
Pretty Jewelry boxes! Inside they have mirrors so they can be used for make up or what ever you would like to keep in them. These are going to make lovely gifts 🙂
Well I am off to work! Have a fantastic Day!!!
I have been busy with work this week, I am in the process of changing jobs so I have had a lot of things to finish up before I move on to a new office in just under 2 weeks. I have a few little set of 4 x 4 mini Christmas Cards to share with you this morning…
Lots of heat embossing and Tim Holtz distress inks were used to make these. I thought it would be fun to string some beads and add them as an embellishment.
I hope you all are having a great week! Thanks so much for stopping by!
