Good Morning Blog Friends!
It is another dreary day here in Halifax, but the temperature is above zero and I am thankful for that. I have had enough of winter and I can’t wait to see buds on the trees and some green poking out through the ground of my garden. I am not looking forward to the yard work that is ahead of me but it will be wonderful to be able to sit out on my deck in the evenings again, I miss that the most. I have another Easter card to share with you this morning. Lord knows why I am making so many Easter cards, I don’t think I have ever given any out! LOL!!! Oh well, it is a fun challenge to make them.
I have totally fallen in love with this new deep edge Martha Stewart border punch that I picked up a couple of weeks ago at The Cutting Garden called Fans and Flourishes. I am a big fan of Martha punches, they are beautiful! The embossing folder is by Stampin’ Up called Elegant Lines.
I am off to work again today, it is a three day week for me this week and I am praying for some good weather so I can get out with my new camera and take some pictures.
Have a great day and thanks for stopping by!
Good Evening! I hope you all had a great day, I did! Work was crazy busy today but I was productive and left feeling tired but good. I am currently sitting in my living room watching TV with my laptop and kobo beside me. I am such a gadget freak… I like to have all my fun toys all around me. LOL!! Anyway… I have another easter card to show you tonight, I really like this one a lot…
Could be a bit too much pink tho! LOL!! Oh well, not bad for not having any Easter stamps 😉 I have several bottles of tiny little beads that I picked up, I think at a craft yard sale. It was one of those purchases that had me thinking once I got home, What the heck are you going to use these for??? Well I decided to put some glossy accents on the centers of my flowers and sprinkle the little beads on it. I really like how it turned out!
I hope you all are having a relaxing evening and thanks for stopping by!
Good Morning! Happy Saturday to you all!
Wow am I glad last week is finally over! It was a busy one for me at work… so much happening! But now it’s the weekend and I get to relax and do what ever I want to finally! I was so excited to start my weekend I actually woke up at 5:30 am and came downstairs to my craft room with my nice fresh cup of coffee to sit, relax and catch up on all the things I have missed on Pintrest. Yes! I am so addicted to Pintrest!! LOL!!
I have been thinking a lot this week about what I can come up with for Easter cards and it dawned on me last night that I could just revisit and revise some of my old favorites! These two cards I am about to post, I made quite a while ago and I have kept them in my stash because I really wanted to make them again. The are definitely two of my favorite cards…
I think these could easily be made into lovely easter cards don’t you think? I think I will get to work on making some variations of these this weekend.
I hope you all enjoy your weekend and thanks so much for stopping by!!
Good Morning! I am here with another attempt at making Easter cards with no Easter stamps! Oh well… Pretty colored paper and butterflies are just going to have to do! LOL!!
I used my pretty Cheery Lynn butterfly die and an embossing folder from the Sizzix Floral Vine set that I picked up at The Cutting Garden. I hope this passes as an Easter card…. I feel like I am scraping the bottom of the barrel with this one! LOL!
I hope you all have a great day and thanks for stopping by! It’s off to work for me!
I have another card to share with you today…
This is the Just Rite Kindness stamp set and it is one of my favorites! I love heat embossing this using sterling silver, it looks so pretty! I have made this design before but it is such a quick and easy card to make, I like to some made up for my stash.
I hope you are having a great day and thanks for stopping by!
Here’s another quick and easy Easter card. I have pretty much let this lovely Anna Griffin paper do all the work on this one! 🙂 I added a lovely Memory Box Tilth Floral die cut behind the flower. I am only beginning to play with my lovely new Memory Box dies I recently picked up from The Cutting Garden.
I am settling in for an afternoon of crafting and then my friends are coming over tonight to hang out and we will probably hang out at the dining room table and stamp a bit. I am finally feeling like I am catching up with posting on my blog this weekend. Lets see if I can keep up the pace! LOL!!!
Thanks so much for stopping by!
Ok this one I think I will pick as one of my favorites! 7 layers of paper! I love the black background. I think I would like to make a series of this type of card in different colors. It is too pretty to put a sentiment on because I don’t want to limit it’s use. I think this card would be good for any occasion 🙂 The only stamp I used is the little $1.29 flower stamp I picked up from Carsand Mosher. Love It!! 🙂 I used the Cuttlebug polka-dot embossing folder in my Big Shot for the white background and I used a Recollections edge punch for the bottom of the black border. I am really happy with how this turned out. There was a lot of measuring and cutting involved in making this card but it was worth the work! Hope you like it! I would love to hear your comments 🙂
