This week over at the Alphabet Challenge Diane has us stamping with the letter L. I have been absent for too long with these challenges, I have been crazy busy but I have found lots of stamping time this weekend so I will be posting for a good part of the day 🙂 Here’s what I came up for Diane’s challenge….
Usually I am pretty indifferent about most of the cards I make. Don’t get me wrong, I like them but every once in a while I manage to make something that I really REALLY like! I am always SO happy when this happens 🙂 This card is in my REALLY Like category LOL!! I liked it so much I made three versions of it! LOL!!! I have been trying to use up some of my scraps in the past couple of weeks and this card (other than the base) is made up of scraps so this makes me very happy 🙂 Here’s a look at the whole card….
Check out that new Martha Stewart border punch! It’s actually from a Punch Around the Page set! I picked this up at The Cutting Garden and it is fast becoming my new favorite! 😀

Love this! Great border punch and I like how you used it on the side. Lovely & likeable way to use scraps. I really like the look of the horizontal and vertical pieces. The flowers in the middle of the long pieces pull it all together. Just love it! I like seeing new ways to use scraps – I’ve got a lot of those! All in all – you scored big with your Letter L card !!
LOVELY!!! I can see how this is one you REALLY, REALLY like. Wonderful use of your scraps….great attention to detail in the layout design and the use of your vertical and horizontal space. Love the ‘pop’ of color with the blue flowers. And yup….gotta love that Martha Stewart and her punch-around-the page punches. Great job my friend….keep the inspiration coming!!
